On March 11, 1982, appellant, Randy Poss, was working for his employer when a piece of sheet iron weighing between 300 and 400 pounds fell on his back. He sustained injury to his back, neck and shoulders. He was treated by Dr. Frank Cipriano, an orthopedic surgeon in Sandpoint, Idaho. Poss returned to work in May of 1982, but since he was unable to move or lift heavy objects, he left work in July and was placed on temporary total disability.
